Maintaining Storage Performance

The manual recommends monitoring drive capacity and avoiding unnecessarily full storage.

For conventional hard disk drives, Windows disk defragmentation can help improve file access performance.

Updating Drivers

Lenovo provides system drivers and software updates through its support resources.

Download drivers intended for the correct product configuration.

Active Protection System

On supported hard-disk configurations, Active Protection System uses motion detection to protect the drive during shock, vibration, or movement.

The system temporarily stops the hard drive when potentially damaging motion is detected and resumes operation when conditions become stable.
