Removable Mesh Filter

The kettle includes a built-in mesh filter designed to reduce the amount of scale residue entering beverages or food when hot water is poured.

The filter can be removed for cleaning and reinstalled afterward.

Purpose of the Mesh Filter

Mineral deposits can develop inside the kettle during repeated boiling.

The mesh filter helps reduce the amount of these particles passing through the pouring spout.

To reduce scale accumulation, remaining water should be emptied after boiling.

When to Clean the Filter

The required cleaning frequency depends on the location and how often the kettle is used.

The filter should be cleaned when:

  • Visible mineral deposits accumulate on the mesh.
  • Scale residue becomes noticeable.
  • Water begins pouring more slowly than normal.

How to Remove and Clean the Kettle Filter

The kettle must be switched off, disconnected from the electrical outlet, and allowed to cool completely before the filter is removed.

Removing the Filter

  1. Make sure the kettle is switched off and unplugged.
  2. Allow the appliance to cool completely.

  5. Locate the removable mesh filter.
  6. Grip the upper part of the filter using the thumb and index finger.
  7. Gently pull the filter upward.
  8. Hold the kettle steady if necessary while removing the filter.

Caution: Fingers must be kept away from the filter mesh. Pressing directly into the mesh can damage it.

Excessive force must not be used when removing the filter.

Cleaning the Filter

  1. Hold the removed filter under running tap water.
  2. Gently brush the filter with a soft brush.
  3. Remove visible mineral deposits and residue.
  4. Rinse the filter thoroughly.

The filter must be washed by hand only.
