IMI Heatmiser Smart Time Clock neoStat-HW V3
The IMI Heatmiser neoStat-HW V3 is a smart programmable time clock designed to control domestic hot water systems using scheduled ON and OFF periods. It allows hot water operation to be programmed for different times of the day, with separate schedules for weekdays, weekends, or individual days.
The neoStat-HW V3 features an LCD display, five touch-sensitive navigation buttons, an approach sensor, hot water boost, holiday programming, standby operation, and a four-digit keypad lock.
The time clock supports three programming arrangements: Weekday/Weekend (5/2 Day), 7 Day, and 24 Hour. Each arrangement provides four programmable ON/OFF switching periods for the selected day or day group. When paired with a compatible Heatmiser neoHub, the neoStat-HW V3 communicates through the neo mesh network and connects to the Heatmiser neoApp.
The unit is designed for flush-mounted installation and supports hot water control arrangements using an S Plan valve or a mid-position valve. Its electrical terminals include separate connections for the timer supply, switching contacts, and an additional neoStat supply shown in the manufacturer’s wiring diagrams.

How the Hot Water Time Clock Works
The neoStat-HW V3 controls a timed output according to a programmed switching schedule.
During an ON period, the time clock activates its timed output. When the programmed OFF time is reached, the output changes to its OFF state.
The switching schedule can be adjusted to match the times when hot water is normally required.
Programmable Hot Water Operation
The time clock provides four ON/OFF switching periods for each programmed day or day group.
Each period has two settings:
- ON Time: The time at which the programmed output switches on.
- OFF Time: The time at which the programmed output switches off.
The time clock follows these periods according to the selected programming mode.
Independent Daily Programming
The available programming modes allow different scheduling arrangements.
Weekday/Weekend programming provides separate schedules for weekdays and weekends. In 7 Day Mode, every day can have its own schedule. In 24 Hour Mode, the same schedule repeats daily.
Hot Water Boost
The Hot Water Boost function temporarily switches the timed output on for a selected duration.
This allows the normal programmed output state to be overridden without editing the switching schedule.
Hot Water Cylinder Thermostat
The manufacturer’s wiring diagrams show the neoStat-HW V3 connected to a separate hot water thermostat and valve arrangement.
The time clock provides programmed switching control, while the connected hot water thermostat forms part of the system’s temperature control arrangement.
Parts, Components, and Control Buttons
The neoStat-HW V3 has an LCD display and five touch-sensitive navigation keys positioned below the screen.
The unit includes a removable front panel, mounting back plate, retaining screw, and electrical terminal connections.
