How to Install the Heatmiser neoStat Touch-e
Installation Steps
- Loosen the retaining screw
Use a small screwdriver to loosen the screw on the bottom face of the thermostat. - Separate the thermostat front
Carefully remove the front half from the back plate. - Place the front safely aside
Keep the front panel protected while wiring. - Connect the wiring
Terminate the thermostat according to the wiring diagrams in the manual. Thermostat wiring is shown on page 30, and Time Clock Mode wiring is shown on page 38. - Secure the back plate
Screw the back plate into the wall back box. - Refit the front panel
Clip the front of the thermostat onto the back plate. - Tighten the retaining screw
Secure the thermostat in place.
Mode Select: Thermostat or Time Clock
The neoStat Touch-e can work in two modes:

How to Change Mode
Changing mode performs a factory reset and clears all parameters.
- Press and hold the Power key for 3 seconds.
- The screen goes blank and shows only CLOCK and SETUP.
- Press and hold SETUP for 10 seconds.
- The thermostat resets and shows two mode options.
- Use Left/Right to select:
- Mode 1 = Thermostat
- Mode 2 = Time Clock
- Press DONE to confirm.
- Press the Power key once.
- The thermostat restarts in the selected mode.

Thermostat Mode controls electric floor heating using the selected sensor setup, programmed comfort levels, and temperature settings.

Set Up and Pairing with neoHub
The neoStat Touch-e can connect to the Heatmiser neoHub for app-based smart control through the neoApp.
Pairing the neoHub
- Connect the neoHub to the router using the Ethernet cable.
- Connect the neoHub power supply.
- Wait for the Link LED to turn red after network connection.
- Wait for the Link LED to turn green when connected to the Heatmiser cloud server.
- Connect a phone or tablet to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Download the free Heatmiser neoApp from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Register an account.
- Sign in and tap Add Location.
- Press the Connect button on the neoHub.
- Enter a location title, such as Home.
The hub only needs to be paired to the account once. More neoStats can be added from Zones > Edit > Add Zone.
Pairing the neoStat Touch-e
- In the app, select Add neoStat.
- Enter a preset or custom title.
- Press Next.
- On the thermostat, press and hold the Power key for 3 seconds.
- The screen shows the power icon, CLOCK, and SETUP.
- Press SETUP once, then press NEXT.
- The mesh symbol flashes on the display.
- When connected, the mesh symbol stays permanently displayed.
- The app confirms the connection.
- Choose Add Another or Finish.
Power On and Off

Heating is active when the flame icon appears. If the flame icon is not shown, the thermostat does not currently need heat, but it remains active.
Turn the Thermostat Off
- Press and hold the Power key for about 3 seconds.
- The display shows SETUP and CLOCK.
- After 10 seconds, only the power icon remains.
- The display and heating output turn off.
Turn the Thermostat On
Press the Power key once.
Setting the Time and Date
- Press and hold the Power key for 3 seconds.
- The screen shows CLOCK and SETUP.
- Tap CLOCK.
- The year digits flash.
- Use Up/Down, then press NEXT to set the year.
- Repeat for month, day, hours, and minutes.
- Press DONE, then press the Power key to save and return to the main display.
Temperature Display

The thermostat can be set to use:
- Built-in air sensor
- Floor sensor
- Built-in air sensor and floor sensor
- Remote air sensor
- Remote air sensor and floor sensor
The screen shows ROOM TEMP or FLOOR TEMP depending on the active sensor mode.
When both air and floor sensors are used, room temperature appears by default.
View Floor Temperature
Press the FLOOR key. The floor temperature appears for 10 seconds.
Temperature Control
To temporarily adjust the set temperature:
- Press Up or Down.
- The screen shows SET TEMP and the desired temperature.
- Adjust using Up/Down.
- Press DONE to confirm and return to the main display.
To cancel the override, press Up or Down, then press CANCEL.
The temperature override remains active only until the next programmed comfort level.

- Repeat for all comfort levels.
- Set unused periods to –:–.
- Press DONE to save.
Temperature Hold
Temperature Hold overrides the normal schedule for a selected time and temperature.
How to Set Temperature Hold
- Press HOLD once.
- Use Up/Down to set the hold time.
- Press DONE.
- Use Up/Down to set the hold temperature.
- Press DONE.
The screen shows HOLD LEFT, and the time counts down before returning to the normal program.
Cancel or Edit Temperature Hold
- Press HOLD once.
- Press CANCEL to cancel hold.
- Or press EDIT to change hold settings.
Thermostat Advance
Thermostat Advance brings the next comfort level forward before its programmed time.
How to Enable Advance
- Press ADVANCE once.
- The screen shows ADVANCED UNTIL and the set temperature.
- Press DONE to confirm.
Multiple advances are not allowed.
How to Cancel Advance
- Press ADVANCE once.
- Press CANCEL.
During Advance, users can press Up/Down to view or change the set temperature, then press DONE.
Frost Protection Standby

Frost protection keeps heating off unless the room temperature drops below the frost protection temperature.
Enable or Disable Frost Protection
Press the Power key once. The frost icon toggles on or off.
If heating turns on during frost mode, the flame icon appears.
Locking and Unlocking the Touch Display
The neoStat Touch-e includes a keypad lock with a four-digit PIN.
Lock the Touch Display
- Press and hold HOLD for 10 seconds.
- The screen shows 0000.
- Use Up/Down to set the first two digits.
- Press NEXT.
- Set the next two digits.
- Press DONE.
- The keypad lock icon appears.
Unlock the Touch Display
- Press any key once.
- Enter the four-digit PIN.
- Use NEXT between the first and second pair of digits.
- Press DONE.
- The display unlocks.
Holiday Mode
Holiday mode changes behavior until a selected return date and time.
In Thermostat Mode
The thermostat lowers the set temperature to the frost protection level and keeps it there until the holiday period ends. After that, it returns to the normal program.
In Time Clock Mode
Scheduled programs are temporarily disabled. Once the holiday period ends, the programmed schedule resumes.
How to Set Holiday Mode
- Press HOLIDAY once.
- Set the year using Up/Down, then press NEXT.
- Set the month, day, hours, and minutes.
- Press DONE to confirm.
- Frost protection active appears on screen.
To view or change the frost temperature during Holiday mode, press Up/Down, then press DONE.

- Press and hold the Power key for 3 seconds.

Recalibrating the Thermostat
The manual states that the thermostat is factory set and does not need recalibration under normal operation.
