The manual notes that the neoHub only needs to be paired to the account once. Additional thermostats can be added through the app using the Add Thermostat option.
What Is a Mesh Network?
Heatmiser neo thermostats use a mesh network. This means compatible neo devices can send and receive signals through other thermostats on the network until the signal reaches the neoHub.
This helps improve:
- Wireless range
- Network stability
- Communication between devices
- Smart control reliability
If the mesh symbol disappears, the thermostat has lost connection to the neoHub.
Approach Sensor
The neoStat-HC1 includes an approach sensor. When someone moves close to the thermostat, the touch keys and backlight turn on automatically.
This makes the thermostat easier to adjust in low-light rooms or at night.
Temperature Display

The thermostat always shows the ambient room temperature. If wireless remote sensors are paired through a neoHub, the thermostat can display an averaged temperature between the thermostat and the remote sensors.
View Set Temperature in Heat or Cool Mode

| 14 | Valve cycling | Weekly or monthly valve operation options |
Feature Menu Highlights
Switching Differential
Switching differential controls how much the temperature can change before the thermostat switches heating or cooling. With a 1°C differential and a 20°C set temperature, heating switches on at 19°C and off at 20°C.
Deadband
Deadband is used in Auto heat/cool mode. It keeps enough space between Heat and Cool set points to stop both systems from working against each other.
Constant Fan
When enabled, the fan runs during heating or cooling demand and continues at low speed after demand ends. When disabled, the fan switches off when demand ends.
Cool Air Proof
Cool Air Proof delays the fan when heating starts, allowing the coil valve to open first. This helps avoid blowing cold air during heating demand.
Valve Cycling
Valve Cycling operates each valve for 5 minutes if the thermostat outputs have not been used for a selected period. This helps prevent valves from staying idle for too long.
How to Adjust Feature Menu Settings
- Use Left/Right to scroll to the power icon.
- Press and hold Tick for 3 seconds.
- When SETUP is highlighted, press Tick once.
- Use Up/Down to scroll through features.
- Use Left/Right to adjust the selected feature value.

Wiring Diagram Summary
The official manual includes wiring diagrams for several system types. The diagrams show AC230V input, 0–10V fan output, valve connections, and terminal labels including N, GND, AO, n/a, V1, V2, and L.
Wiring Diagrams Included
| Wiring Diagram | System Type |
| Normally Closed Valve | System Types 01 and 02 |
