- The app confirms the connection.
- Select Add Another for more zones or Finish to complete setup.
Additional neoStats can be added later from Zones > Edit > Add Zone.
What Is a Mesh Network?
Heatmiser neoStats use a mesh network. This allows thermostats to send and receive signals through other thermostats on the network until the signal reaches the neoHub.
This helps improve:
- Communication range
- Network stability
- Smart thermostat reliability
If the mesh symbol disappears, the thermostat has lost connection to the neoHub.
Approach Sensor
The neoStat PRO uses proximity sensing. When someone approaches the thermostat, the touch keys and backlight light up automatically.
This helps users adjust settings in low-light rooms without needing to press the panel first.
Display Options

The neoStat PRO can show either an ambient temperature display or a blank display. During keypad use, the display lights at full brightness, then dims or goes blank after a few seconds.
Display Settings

Cooling and Dew Point

When used with a neoHub and HC-Switch, the neoStat PRO can be used for underfloor cooling.
In cooling mode:
- The snowflake icon shows cooling is active.
- A floor sensor must be fitted.
- The thermostat uses air, floor, and humidity sensors to calculate dew point.
- When the floor approaches dew point, cooling stops.
- This helps prevent condensation on tiled floors.
By default, cooling is disabled. When the system is set to cooling mode while cooling is disabled, dashes appear on the display. Cooling can be enabled from zone settings in the app.
